瓦斯貨車疑闖紅燈！ 騎士遭撞左眼破裂
貨車駕駛闖紅燈，撞飛騎機車的夫妻，日前台北市興隆路發生一起嚴重事故，載瓦斯的小貨車，行駛在下坡路段，經過十字路口時，疑似沒注意前方是紅燈，搶快追撞雙載的潘姓夫妻，兩名傷者全身是傷、顱內出血，送醫治療，先生的左眼破裂，只剩單眼的視力。
小貨車直直往前，砰一聲，撞到一部機車，車上兩個人從坐墊上摔翻落地，動也不動，放慢速度再看一次，載滿瓦斯的駕駛經過路口，明明亮紅燈卻沒減速，撞上雙載騎士後，急忙下車查看。
附近店家：「也很大力也很慘，兩個騎摩托車的都倒了，試圖想要爬起來，但沒有爬起來。」
記者李潔：「事故地點就發生在這個十字路口，當時機車綠燈直行，沒想到遭到小貨車衝撞，而騎士被撞飛之後，左眼球當場破裂。」
警方調查，11日上午8點多，台北市興隆路四段，57歲潘姓騎士當天上午載著妻子出門，眼看綠燈 直直往前，偏偏45歲林姓駕駛，經過路口闖紅燈，這一撞 夫妻倆顱內出血，潘姓騎士左眼慘遭摘除。
附近店家：「剛設紅綠燈，在以前還沒設紅綠燈，雖然有(車禍)，好像都沒有那麼嚴重過，以前是裝閃黃燈的時候，大家經過這裡，都知道要看車子一下，(現在)反正一方看到有綠燈，綠燈那一方一定很快，紅燈忽略的那一方那就更慘了。」
回到事故地點，這窄窄的巷子 過去是閃燈，這幾年才變為紅綠燈設計，但附近居民指出，這紅綠燈與大路口原本的燈號靠得太近，常有人貪方便直直闖越，反而更危險。依照法令，闖紅燈開罰戰利品活動商品1800到5400元，但罰錢事小，再看一次撞擊瞬間，小貨車下坡行駛，卻疑似沒注意燈號，在路口撞上夫妻騎士，傷者左眼破裂摘除，成了一輩子難以復原的傷痛。
整體規劃重疊、市區衝擊交通 高捷岡山路竹線環評挨轟

承諾了沿線住戶不會拆遷，卻恐怕讓未來的行人、自行車、機車深陷險境，「高雄捷運岡山路竹延伸線」計畫14日在環保署進行第二次初審，遭小組質疑在路竹市區路段的設計思維非「以人為本」，且整體規劃更顯得高鐵、台鐵、捷運三者角色重疊。
此案還可補件再審，提案開發的高雄市政府捷運局還有第三次初審的補考機會，小組要求補充台一線路竹市區路段的因應規劃、地質調查與路網整體計畫等。
此案將在既有的「台1線」上方以立體的方式建置捷運。高雄捷運局指出，高捷岡山路竹延伸線為南高兩市整體大眾運輸的一環，讓高雄都會區北向交通軸線再延伸，大岡山、路竹與湖內地區都將因此納入捷運服務範圍。
不過，在5月底的第一次初審時，就遭小組質疑此案必要性，要求再說明服務對象與既有交通運具、接駁缺口，甚至要求提出其他包括台鐵、接駁公車等替代交通運具的可能性，也對交通可能轉移比率的合理性及其轉移來源提出質疑，要求提供交通模式預測驗證依據。 市區狹窄路邊將擠爆 挨批不是「以人為本」
這次高雄捷運局提出的補充仍遭到砲轟。由於為了建造捷運高架墩柱，將縮減台1線既有車道、路肩。
雖然高雄捷運局表示將維持現有的車道數，雙向2快1慢、3快1慢車道，但王价巨、李克聰等委員批，在路竹市區路段，原本路幅就已狹窄，新的設計路邊卻只剩下1.4公尺的空間，路面上還有許多既有的設施；沒有路肩，行人專用道、自行車道都沒有設置；加上必然會發生的臨停、違停，機車也無安全的行駛空間。甚至是天氣炎熱，機車駕駛最需要的可以遮陰的植栽，也都沒有空間安排。
王价巨批，這樣的設計與「以人為本」的概念背道而馳。環委馬小康更直言，自己就住在附近，既有的國1線在路竹市區段已讓他相當不滿，這樣的規劃無疑加重交通問題，他相當不支持。
沿線居民300多戶已組成自救會，反對為了開路再次徵收拆屋。路竹區台一線自救會執行長林宏裕表示，他們之前已遭徵收拆屋三次，這次要再拆就不能住了。而高雄捷運局則表示，這次保證絕對不會有任何拆遷。而自救會擔心的噪音問題，高捷則表示都有預留設置隔音牆的空間，將來可能需要裝上。
但王价巨提醒，雖然不會拆屋，這樣狹窄的路與噪音，還有景觀上的壓迫感，捷運的量體就是一定要22公尺寬，不可能變得輕薄短小，沿線居民若是意識到問題的嚴重性，將來絕對會激烈抗議，高雄捷運局應該再加強收集民意，不該輕忽環境衝擊，因為目前在環評資料上都只是輕描淡寫。 高鐵、台鐵、捷運 三者重疊 環委質疑 政院曾退件16次
「缺的是接駁轉乘，不是捷運。」李克聰直言，高雄捷運局將人口老化作為此案的理由並非妥當，使用代步車者根本不可能開上捷運，而使用代步車的老人將越來越多，高捷說將來未來使用私人運具者，四成將因此轉搭捷運。「我不相信。」李克聰表示，老年人需要的公共運輸，是從家裡的接駁，而不見得是捷運。
「台鐵的接駁做的好，高鐵就不用延伸。」李克聰表示，目前高雄地區大眾交通的規劃，呈現高鐵、台鐵、捷運，三者角色重疊的狀況。對於自救會提出以輕軌與台鐵共軌的建議，李克聰也大表贊同，認為這是高雄市政府應該重新思考的。
林宏裕指出，此案已遭行政院國發會駁回了16次，更明確指出與台1線、台鐵重複的狀況，要求更改捷運路線。既然高雄市政府至今還是堅持不改，交通部就駁回這個計畫，但卻在前閣揆林全時代還是同意了。林宏裕不滿，如此將耗費300億以上，若是依慣例追加預算，將浪費500億元左右，這是子孫的錢，不該為了工程或炒土地利益而強要開發。
馬小康則表示，這條捷運顯然是為了南科高雄園區、橋頭科學園區楠梓加工出口區的員工而開，且主要就是南科，高市府卻沒有老實交代，卻大談老年人口需求。
地質專業的環委李錫堤提醒，當地有岡山向斜、軟弱地層的地質問題，高捷提出的高架型捷運「頭重腳輕」的設計，在地震狀況下是不利的，因此要求補充當地地層向下變形、軟弱地層沉陷、地震危害度、土壤液化等地質資料，以及說明工程設計上的因應規畫。
